MORE ABOUT HERNHILL CIDER
Small batches of traditional Kentish cider made using only freshly pressed juice from our own small orchard, and other selected local orchards. Nothing is added except a pinch of cider yeast, then allowed to ferment and mature.

DRY 8.0%
Fully fermented and bottle conditioned, apples only.
Apple varieties include Discovery, Worcester, Cox, Bramley, Egremont Russet and Crab.
No sulphites, chemicals or other additives.
IWSC Bronze award, 2023
MEDIUM DRY 7.5%
Fully fermented and bottle conditioned. Apples and pears for natural sweetness [pears contain a proportion of non fermentable sugar].
No sulphites, chemicals or other additives.
MEDIUM 6.5%
Made by blending the dry cider with pure apple juice, to increase sweetness and reduce the alcohol %. Bottled, allowed to ferment/bottle condition for a few days, then gently pasteurised in the sealed bottle to fix the strength and sweetness without needing any chemicals, sulphites or other preservatives.
SWEET PEAR AND APPLE 5.5%
Made by blending the medium dry cider with pure apple juice and pear essence, to increase sweetness and reduce the alcohol %.
Bottled, allowed to ferment/bottle condition for a few days, then gently pasteurised in the sealed bottle to fix the strength and sweetness without needing any chemicals, sulphites or other preservatives.

Judging panel tasting notes:- "Expressive and balanced, brimming with aromas of bright apple fruit. The palate is dry and harmonious, full of juicy green fruit flavours and appealing savoury undertones."
The best of previous years pressings of dry cider, further aged over oak. Only available in 750ml bottles. Served chilled, it makes an interesting alternative to white wine. 8.2% ABV.
